Multi Purpose Wallpaper Adhesive
Description:
This is a blend of pregelatinised potato starches and vinyl acetate polymer containing preservative. Cold water dispersible. Physical Characteristics:
Off white, flake
Application:
A quick (3 minute) mix for all wallpapers, heavy weight papers, washables, vinyls and blown vinyls.
Note: Refer to wallcovering manufacturers instructions.
Handling/Storage/Packaging:
Packed in printed film sachets.
Handling:
The product is generally harmless to the skin. However, highly sensitive individuals occasionally experience skin irritation when handling large quantities. Normal attention to regular hygiene should prevent any problems of this nature.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place off the ground.
Spillage:
In disposing of this material to sewers, particularly in solution, account must be taken of local legislation which may apply regarding BOD levels of effluents. Sweep up dry product.
FIRST AID TREATMENT
Inhalation:
Certain individuals are affected by breathing fine dust. When handling bulk quantities, operators should wear dust masks.
Ingestion:
The product contains preservative which is slightly toxic, it must not be taken internally in any form. If a person is suspected of having swallowed the substance, wash mouth out, drink plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Skin Contact:
Wash with warm water
Eye Contact:
In the event of eye contact, immediately wash out with copious amounts of clean water.
Fire Fighting:
The product is combustible, but under recommended storage conditions, does not present a fire hazard. In handling large quantities care should be taken to avoid creating dust clouds and regularly removing dust deposits. Fires should be controlled by water spray rather than main jets. Other methods of fire fighting include CO/foam/dry powder.
