Wall Ceramic Wall Tile Grout
Description
Durabond GT – Wall Tile Grout is a cement based plasticised grout for the grouting of ceramic wall tiles. It is suitable for grouting joints from 1 – 6mm in width. Durabond GT – Wall Tile Grout can also be used on floors in both internal and external locations.
Preparation
Joints should be free from dust, dirt, oil, grease and any other contaminants before grouting. Clean the surface with a damp sponge before application.
Mixing Instructions
Add Durabond GT – Wall Tile Grout to water in a clean bucket. Stir and mix thoroughly to give a consistent, slump free and easily trowelled mortar. Mixing proportions are as follows:
- Approximately 3 parts Durabond GT – Wall powder to 1 part water.
- A 10kg bag requires approximately 3.4 litres of water.
- The grout has a pot life of 1 hour and a working time of 20 minutes under normal conditions.
Using a rubber squeegee apply the grout to the surface, taking care to work the grout well into the joints. Work in criss cross fashion, moving the squeegee firmly and diagonally in relation to the joint lines. Remove any excess grout. After the grout has started to set clean the surface with a damp sponge. When it has completely hardened any residues can be removed with a dry cloth. Apply at temperatures above 5ºC.
Coverage
Coverage will depend on tile size and joint width & depth.
Storage Conditions
Durabond GT – Wall has a shelf life of 12 months if stored in dry conditions and in the original bags.

Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin.
May cause sensitisation by skin contact.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
